Meet Daniel!

My passion for serving others started long before I ever thought about running for office. I grew up in Laurens, South Carolina, where community meant more than a place — it meant people looking out for each other. As a teenager, I spent weekends volunteering at local events, not because anyone asked me to, but because I loved being part of something that made our town stronger. That sense of service never left me.

Sixteen years ago, I moved to Greenville County, built a life here, and found a home. I’m happily married, blessed with three wonderful kids, and we’re active members of Washington Baptist Church. My faith, my family, and this community have shaped who I am and why I’m running. I worked hard to earn my bachelor’s degree in software development from Grand Canyon University, and for the past 13 years, I’ve been proud to work at ZF Transmission while serving on the board of the Palmetto Business Association.

I’m the kind of person who believes problems exist to be solved — not ignored, not pushed down the road, and not hidden behind political talking points. I’m a strong Republican, but more importantly, I’m someone who believes in honesty. I won’t tell you what you want to hear just to win your vote. If there’s a way to fix something, I want to understand it, dig into the numbers, and find a real solution. Data tells a story, and I’ve learned that if you’re willing to read it, you can uncover the truth many people miss.

When I don’t know the answer, I don’t guess — I research, I ask questions, and I rely on a higher authority for guidance. That’s how I approach life, and it’s how I’ll approach public service. Greenville County has given my family and me so much. Running for County Council is my way of giving back — by fighting for accountability, fairness, and a government that truly works for the people who call this place home.
