Greenville County is one of only three counties in South Carolina without a dedicated revenue stream for roads. Homeowners have carried this burden for far too long. I support a fair model where those who Eat, Play, and Shop in Greenville County contribute their share, ensuring our roads are funded without raising property taxes. Reliable, dedicated funding will finally allow us to address congestion, maintenance, and long-delayed improvements.

Traffic on corridors like Fairview Road is getting worse, not better. We need practical public transportation that helps people get to work, school, medical appointments, and daily necessities. I want to help Greenlink by bringing together major local employers—BMW, GE, Sealed Air, and operations throughout the Donaldson Center—to create smart, employer-supported transit routes and new stops that connect people to opportunity while easing traffic across the county.

Reallocating FILOT revenues threatens the funding our schools, fire districts, and municipalities rely on. These services are essential to community safety and quality of life. I support fair, transparent revenue policies that protect the frontline services families, and first responders depend on. FILIOT's were designed to help the community around the area to be developed not added to a general county problem.

As our population grows, our public safety staffing has fallen behind. We must strengthen the Sheriff’s Office by making salaries competitive, improving recruitment and retention, and addressing mental-health needs at the detention center. Safe communities start with properly supported deputies and first responders.

South Greenville deserves the same quality-of-life protections enjoyed in other parts of the county. A South Greenville Conservation District, modeled after the Scuffletown Conservation District, will help protect farmland, open spaces, and the rural character that makes our community unique—before it’s too late.

Growth shouldn’t overwhelm neighborhoods or shift costs onto homeowners. New development must be paired with infrastructure, roads, and public safety planning. Growth should pay for growth, and decisions must be made with long-term planning—not short-term politics.

I believe in conservative budgeting rooted in facts, not rhetoric. Numbers reveal the real story, and I will use data, transparency, and research-based decision-making to ensure taxpayer money is spent wisely. When I don’t know an answer, I dig in until I find it—because accountability starts with honest leadership. I am not a "Yes" man or a "No" man, I am not going to tell you what you want to hear. Let's work together the right way to solve our problems.
